Proxy SSL is a proxy service that allows you to securly surf the Internet by connecting to our proxy servers with the Proxy SSL client. All your HTTP(s) requests from your browser software are completely encrytped using a 128 bit SSL certificate. The encrypted data is send to our proxy servers, which prevents your data from being stolen. Our proxy servers process your request and return the results to your browser software. This way you can act completely anonymously on the Internet. The web sites you visit will merely see the IP address of our proxy servers.

Why do you need Proxy SSL?

When you access the Internet, you receive a Internet Protocol (IP) address from your ISP to identiy your computer. The IP Address acts like an address on the Internet to fix your location and can be traced back to your door steps. Every web site you access, the web server can store and log your activites and know which pages you have viewed, which links you have clicked, which files you have downloaded, which products have you viewed but not bought, and so on. Also, when you use a WLAN (Wireless Local Area Network) or a hot spot to access the Internet, your username and password can easily be stolen and/or hijacked by computers logging your activities.

Using free public proxy servers posted on the Interent forums allows you to surf anonymously, but you are still at the risk of having your confidential information hijacked. Furthermore, the number of free public proxy server available are limited. You will probably be spending hours searching for one, if any works. And if you do find one, the free public proxy server is probably very slow becuase it is overloaded with users.

How does Proxy SSL work?

Proxy SSL connects your computer to our private proxy servers using 128 bit SSL encryption. Once the connection is established, all your HTTP(s) requests are encrypted and sent through this connection to our private proxy servers which protects your information from being eavesdropped, even by your ISP. Our servers forwards your reqeust to the web servers. This way you can act completely anonymously on the Internet. The web sites you visit will merely see the IP address of our proxy servers.

All you need to do is install the Proxy SSL service on your machine. The setup wizard will easily install Proxy SSL on your computer. Then, start Proxy SSL and login with your account. Choose one of our proxy servers to connect to and begin surfing securly and anonymously.

What is a proxy server? A proxy server is a server which services the requests of its clients by forwarding requests to other servers. A client connects to the proxy server, requesting some service, such as a file, connection, web page, or other resource, available from a different server. The proxy server provides the resource by connecting to the specified server and requesting the service on behalf of the client. A proxy server may optionally alter the client's request or the server's response, and sometimes it may serve the request without contacting the specified server. In this case, it would 'cache' the first request to the remote server, so it could save the information for later, and make everything as fast as possible.  What is a Proxy Server?
